USC Football: Trojans Offer Local 4-Star Tight End
The USC Trojans are making a strong effort to have one of the best recruiting classes for 2025.
On their way of doing so, they have made an offer to 2025 three-star tight end Aaron "AJ" Ia.
Aaron, aka AJ, is an Orange County native hailing from Orange, California. He attends Orange Lutheran and stands at 6-foot-4, 225 pounds.
Ia spoke to USC recently and discussed his recruitment process thus far.
“Recruiting has been going well,” he explained. “I’m staying in contact with all the coaches that want to be and everything is good. Washington, Oregon, Florida State, Auburn, Arizona State, Arizona, Tennessee, Notre Dame and Alabama, Utah and Texas have been standing out so far. It’s early but they have shown a lot of interest.”

According to 247Sports, Ia is the 16th-ranked tight end in his class and the 33rd-ranked player in his home state. It has received offers from Flordia, Ole Miss, Miami, Arizona, and SMU.
The junior pass catcher had one heck of a season where he snagged 24 receptions for 362 yards and five touchdowns. His season was cut short due to injury, but he was on pace for a dominant junior year.
He's caught the attention of many college programs, including USC's. We'll see if the Trojans can land the talented tight end.
