USC Football: Trojans Superstar WR Declares for NFL Draft
The USC Trojans are set to look like a completely new team. Multiple players have left the team for the transfer portal, including a multitude of players also declaring for the NFL Draft.
The offensive side of the Trojans' passing attack will take a huge hit, as superstar Tahj Washington has officially declared for the draft. He announced his decision via X.
Washington thanked the Trojans team for his journey and revealed that he will be entering the Draft.
Washington has had a stellar year, which was capped off by an incredible Holiday Bowl performance.
Washington ends his 2023 campaign with 1,068 yards, 8 TDs, and an average of 18 YPC.
Washington showcased his elite catching skill at the Holiday Bowl, as he posted 7 catches for 99 yards and 2 TDs. Backed by Miller Moss' breakout night, Washington was all over the field.
His innate ability to make big plays led to the Trojans securing a 42-28 win. Washington has showcased his skillset all year, and we imagine he will be drafted in the higher rounds.
Whoever decides to draft Washington is likely to land one of the most dynamic pass catchers that enters the draft. Despite players like Marvin Harrison Jr., Malik Nabers, and Rome Odunze joining the draft—Washington could end up being the steal of the draft.
