USC Football vs Cal Delayed on Saturday Due to Protests on the Field

What a weird start to the final game of the rivalry.

The USC Trojans were getting set to take on the Cal Bears on Saturday at 1:00 p.m., however, their start time has been pushed back due to protesters on the field.

We don't yet have information on what they are protesting, however, this picture from Connor Morrissette shows the protesters lined up at midfield. Security was starting to go over to talk to them in the photograph.

For now, the start time has been delayed, and we don't know when the protesters will be done and when the game will start.

We will continue to provide updates when we know more on the situation.

UPDATE:

The protesters have been removed from the field and the game is getting underway at 1:15 p.m. PT.
