USC Holds Strong as Preferred Destination for 2026 Georgia QB
The USC Trojans are known for developing quarterbacks, and we saw that last year with Heisman trophy winner Caleb Williams.
However, Williams is just one of many who has dominated the college football landscape and will prepare for the next level soon enough. USC's line of star QBs is long, and it will only get better under head coach Lincoln Riley.
Riley is known for developing QBs from his time in Oklahoma, and more are sure to come at USC. This is only the beginning of the Lincoln Riley era, and as far as quarterbacks go, it could only get better from it.
As things stand, the Trojans are in and are among the favorites to land the potential number one overall prospect for the class of 2026, Georgia standout Julian Lewis.
Lewis hails from Carrollton, Georgia, and will enter his sophomore season. He's already turning the heads of college scouts, including USC, as they are one of eight schools to which he's narrowed his selection down.
The high school sophomore is a fan of what is happening at USC and hailed Riley and assistant coach Kliff Kingsbury.
“I like it, they have three crazy (talented) guys overall,” Lewis said. “Caleb Williams, Malachi Nelson and Miller Moss all can sling it. To sit in the meeting room with coach Riley is huge. He’s the head coach, offensive coordinator and quarterback coach. Sitting in the meeting room with him every day, there’s no way you can’t take your game to the next level. You’ll see the game differently. Now, they have Kliff Kingsbury and that’s just another crazy add-on. You can’t beat that. It’s crazy.”

At the moment, Lewis is not ranked or has any stars, but that is sure to change in the coming months. he is coming off an incredible freshman season where he threw for 4,118 passing yards, 48 touchdowns, and completed 65.5% of his passes while averaging 274.5 yards per game.
The kid seems big time already, and if USC were to snag him up, that would put them in the thick of things or over the top in the Big 10 Conference.
If you want to be great, go no further than head coach Lincoln Riley. He has the track record to prove it, and Lewis could only get better under his guidance.
We'll watch Julian closely as he goes through his journey.
