Your USC Trojans faced a major setback in pursuing the number one running back from the 2024 class, Taylor Tatum

Despite leading the race for his commitment for most of the time, the talented young running back ultimately decided to represent the Boomer Sooner at Oklahoma.

In the past few days, rumors had been swirling that Tatum might opt for Norman over LA, and sadly, those speculations turned out to be true.

USC insiders Scott Schrader and Marshall Levenson initially believed that the Trojans had the upper hand. Still, as news of Tatum's potential move to Oklahoma gained traction, they had to reassess their predictions.

Tatum stands at 5-foot-10 and weighs 200 pounds, who is a force to be reckoned with. He had an outstanding junior season, during which he rushed for an incredible 1,850 yards and scored 33 touchdowns.

July hasn't been kind to USC, but they remain determined to assemble the best possible recruiting class. While losing out on Tatum stings, they know that there's still work to be done.

They must now refocus their efforts and search for other exceptional talents to bolster their team. The road ahead may be challenging, but the Trojans are ready to tackle it head-on.

We wish Tatum the best in the next chapter of his life. Best of luck!
