USC Remains Firmly at No. 5 in Latest AP Poll
Bye week has the Trojans stand pat
In this story:
The USC Trojans took a rest day for Week 3 after a dominant win in Week 2 over their oldest rival, Stanford Cardinal.
The big win last week propelled USC to rise one spot from six to five, and after Week 3, they remain at five in the latest AP Poll.
The Trojans will look to show they belong in the top 5 and beyond this upcoming Saturday when they travel to Tempe, Arizona, to take on the Arizona State Sun Devils.
It will be their second Pac-12 game of the season as conference play is officially underway. This will be the Trojans' first road game of the season and possibly their last game against ASU in a long time. They will make sure that they remember the Trojans forever after Saturday's contest.
