USC Trojans Football Schedule: Kickoff Time vs. Wisconsin Badgers Slots
The No. 11 USC Trojans have a football scheduling update.
The TV networks have announced that a six-day selection has been utilized for USC’s Sept. 28 home football game against the Wisconsin badgers. This means, the official start times and network designations will be held until games on September 21 have been played.
Kickoff time options for the USC vs. Wisconsin home game on Saturday, September 28 are 12:30 p.m. PT, 4 p.m. PT or 4:30 p.m. PT.
The matchup vs. Wisconsin features the "homecoming" of coach Alex Grinch and linebacker Tackett Curtis, as both Badgers transferring from the Trojans before this season.
Most recently, the Badgers suffered a brutal defeat to No. 4 Alabama. To add insult to injury, Wisconsin starting quarterback Tyler Van Dyke left the game with an early injury. Van Dyke’s knee injury occurred during the Badgers’ first offensive drive of the game.
“I don’t think it looks real good for us, for him,” Wisconsin coach Luke Fickell said about the senior quarterback’s status.
Backup quarterback Braedyn Locke went 13 of 26 for 125 yards and a touchdown in Van Dyke’s absence. It's very possible the Trojans will face Locke on September 28th. The Badgers are currently unranked and are enjoying their bye this weekend before traveling to the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum to face the Trojans.
USC begins Big Ten conference play this Saturday, Sept. 21, as USC travels to Ann Arbor to face No. 18 Michigan, the reigning National Champions.
The 2024 Wolverines have struggled at the start of the season. The Wolverines suffered an ugly loss to No. 1 Texas Longhorns. Most recently, Michigan only beat Arkansas State by 10 points in a game that raised major questions.
USC quarterback Miller Moss is off to a hot start in his redshirt junior season. Through two games this season, Moss has completed 48 of 66 passes for 607 yards and two touchdowns.
"He’s done a great job here early in his career,” Riley told former Trojans receiver Keyshawn Johnson. “There's no question (Moss) is really smart. He's one of the smartest (quarterbacks), and maybe the smartest that I've had, which is saying something.”
Moss has credited Riley for his early success as the two look to stay undefeated.
"I think I've been put in really good situations,” said Moss. “Lincoln Riley's the best offensive coach in college football, if not coach. But, we'll leave that up for debate a little bit more. I’ve been out in really good situations and I think it’s my job to keep operating the offense, to keep making the next right decision.”
