The USC Trojans and Washington Huskies are getting ready for the biggest games of their respective seasons up to this point.

The Huskies are trying to keep their College Football Playoff hopes alive, while the Trojans are trying to prevent their season from turning into a true disaster.

Additionally, the loser of this game would have a real uphill battle at winning the Pac-12 this season.

As we get set for game time, the Trojans are getting some tough injury news.

First, it was announced that starting defensive back Jacobe Covington would be out for the Trojans.

Then, it was revealed that starting running back Marshawn Lloyd was not dressed for the game, either.

Lloyd is the Pac-12's leading rusher, so this is an enormous loss for USC. Austin Jones will likely get the start at running back in Lloyd's absence.

As for Covington, he transferred from Washington, so you know he wanted to play in this game.

Unfortunately, both starters will be out, meaning the Trojans will be shorthanded against the No. 5 ranked Huskies.
