Five-star receiver Jerome Myles announced on Wednesday that he will push up his commitment date from October 30 to Wednesday, September 18. Myles will decide between USC, Utah and Texas A&M, with the Trojans being the favorite to land the talented playmaker out of Utah. Myles took his official visit to USC this past weekend during the Trojans 48-0 rout on Utah State.

Myles is the No. 30 overall prospect and the No. 5 receiver in the 2025 recruiting cycle, according to 247Sports. He is also the top-ranked player in Utah.

The Corner Canyon (UT) receiver possesses blazing speed, running the 100-meter in 10.36.

Myles reeled in 19 receptions for 486 yards and six touchdowns as a junior in just five games. He caught 34 passes for 699 yards and eight touchdowns as a sophomore. Myles was a standout player in Coroner Canyon's upset victory over IMG Academy (FL) on Aug 22. He hauled in five receptions for 125 yards and three touchdowns.

"Myles is one of the top receivers in the country and has a ton of upside," said Greg Biggins of 247Sports. "He has a rare combination of size, speed and body control and reminds us a bit of former Washington All-American wide out and recent No. 9 pick of the Chicago Bears, Rome Odunze. He has an athletic 6-2, 210 pound frame and is a true deep threat who can get behind any defense. "

USC currently has the No. 13 ranked recruiting class for the 2025 cycle, per 247Sports. The Trojans have 19 commits, including Julian Lewis (GA), Matai Tagoa'i (CA), Jadon Perlotte (GA), Kendarius Reddick (GA), Ty Jackson (FL), Trestin Castro (CA), Hayden Lowe (CA), Carde Smith (AL), Tanook Hines (TX), Corey Simms (MO), Romero Ison (MD), Riley Wormley (TX), Shamar Arnoux (GA), Willi Wascher (WA), Henry Dalton III (VA), Daune Morris (TN), James Johnson (GA), Gus Cordova (TX), Elijah Vaikona (CA).

The Trojans came out with a bang in th 2024 college football season with a win over the LSU Tigers in front of a national audience. When asked if he has heard from any recruits after the game, USC Trojans coach Lincoln Riley smirked at the question.

“I haven’t turned [my phone] on yet, but it’ll buzz for a while when I do,” said Riley.

“You got recruits that are looking towards the future,” said Riley. "They see the changes that we’ve made, not just this year but in the last couple of years, and to see those changes come together and see the team play. Not just win the game, but play the way we did, you know what I mean? I’m sure anybody watching that game could see a team that was pretty together and a team that was really fighting and was playing some pretty darn good football in a lot of spurts.”

Myles would be an excellent addition for that future that Riley is referencing.
