The USC Trojans are gearing up for the most critical season they will encounter in a long time. USC will have many eyes on them, and with that comes pressure that will be upon head coach Lincoln Riley and star quarterback Caleb Williams.

The pressure is on both to get the job done, and although it seems like Williams does it all on his own, he owes and shows great appreciation to his offensive line. One of his returning linemen, Jonah Monheim, will be a key piece to the team's success; however, he will be in a new spot in 2023.

Monheim will be making the move from right guard to left tackle.

The Southern California native had a solid 2022 outing; he played in all 14 games, 11 times at right tackle and three at right guard, and was named to the All-Pac-12 Honorable Mention. Monheim was also the number nine graded tackle in the nation in 2022.

He seemed more comfortable at the tackle position; he will shift from the right to the left side.

We're hoping for a big year for Jonah as he now shifts to the most important position in the line, protecting his QBs blind side.
