Can USC Land Elite 2026 OL/DL Recruit Tommy Tofi?

AllTrojans.com caught up with the sophomore OL/DL Tommy Tofi out of San Francisco, California.

Archbishop Riordan (San Francisco, CA) offensive/defensive lineman Tommy Tofi is a must-get for the Trojans. Standing a towering 6-6, 320-pounds, he is already the size of an NFL offensive linemen, yet he's only in his second year of high school football.  AllTrojans.com caught up with Tofi after Archbishop Riordan's final regular season game at the historic Kezar Stadium in San Francisco to better understand where his recruitment is at.

Tofi grew up in Belgium, where his father played professional basketball. He was a hooper before he became a hog, and despite this being his 3rd year playing football, Tofi might be the best sophomore offensive lineman in the state of California. 247 Sports lists him as the 59th prospect player in the 2026 class (4 stars). Tofi played at Sheldon High School (Sacramento, CA) before transferring to Archbishop Riordan. He has played, and dominated, in some of the best leagues in Northern California.

He received his USC offer after attending a camp that USC hosted this past summer. Tofi also is being heavily recruited by Cal and Oregon and holds offers from Nebraska, Stanford, Utah, and Washington to name a couple more.

While Tofi dominates playing defensive line, his potential along the offensive line may be higher. But, as we noted, he is being looked at for both sides of the line, by multiple schools.

As far as the programs he's favoring, Tofi told AllTrojans.com that he's favoring USC, Cal, and Oregon. "Stay close to home, of course" is what Tofi said his criteria is for his schools he's looking at. Tofi continued, "It's just, the environment and the brotherhood up there" in reference to Oregon, specifically. We asked Tofi what his thoughts on Lincoln Riley and the Trojan's season thus far.

"They've been good, yeah. Caleb Williams is a dog. And shout out to Alani Noa, from Sacramento" (#77 Alani Noa is a freshman offensive tackle already at USC).

The Trojans look to be in a good position, as it stands, to land Tofi. There is still a long way to go in his recruitment, but with USC already high on Tofi's list, they have a good a chance as anybody. AllTrojans will be keeping up with Tofi's recruitment as it develops.
