Prediction: USC football picked to receive commitment from 4-star wide receiver
USC football coach Lincoln Riley sent out one of his infamous commitment tweets on Wednesday and an hour later, a 2024 four-star wide receiver prospect was predicted to pick the Trojans.
On3.com's Scott Schrader has forecasted that USC will receive a commitment from Silsbee (Texas) wideout Drelon Miller next month.
Miller stands at 6-foot-2 and weighs 198 pounds. He's ranked as the No. 60 player nationally, per the 247Sports.com composite, and the No. 11 wide receiver prospect in the class.
Texas A&M and LSU are the two other schools aggressively pursuing Miller. The receiver will take an official visit to USC on June 16. He's previously unofficially visited USC. Miller is scheduled to commit to a school on June 29.
USC MAKES MAJOR IMPRESSION ON FOUR-STAR SAFETY
USC hosted four 2024 prospects on official visits over the weekend. Out of the group, four-star Judson (Converse, Texas) safety Myles Davis seemed to have left LA feeling the best about the Trojans.
Davis told 247Sports.com's Steve Wiltfong after his visit: “USC is in serious consideration for being my home. I’m considering moving some visits up so I can see how they are and make my decision this coming month, especially with them taking two safeties."
Davis stands at 6-foot-1 and weighs 185 pounds. The 247Sports composite ranks him as the No. 338 player nationally and the No. 32 safety prospect.
