USC Football: Another Trojans Recruit Responds To News Of Alex Grinch's Firing
As the Trojans enter a new era of (hopefully better) defense, sans Alex Grinch, it looks as though the recruiting situation is going to improve dramatically as well.
Multiple recruits have already spoken out seemingly voicing their support, including 2024 commit Marcelles Williams.
Jason Zandamela joins the show, as the 6-foot-3 interior offensive lineman tweeted this recently:
Zandamela would be a major get for the Trojans, as the 4-star is one of the top 4 interior offensive linemen in the U.S., per 247Sports, giving USC an immediate boost as we exit the Caleb Williams era.
Jason is currently uncommitted, but 247's Crystal Ball Predictions suggest a 75% probability of his commitment to Southern Cal. They also report that it is exclusively between Oklahoma (remaining 25% probability), and USC.
As recruits continue to approve of the decision, expect them to possess a lot more confidence in the program. As you're choosing where to play, the expectation is that you go somewhere stable, that'll maximize your existing talent whilst ensuring that you can develop to the best of your ability.
Good management is a big part of that, and the decision to dismiss Alex Grinch was reflective of USC having it. Expect more recruits to voice their support.
