USC Football: Is Trojan Commit Xavier Jordan A Potential Flip Target?

Sierra Canyon (Chatsworth, CA) wide receiver Xavier Jordan committed to the Trojans in the spring of 2023. He has been on campus at USC multiple times since then.
However, there have been multiple reports regarding his potential flip to Utah. First, AllDucks.com's Max Torres reported that he was hearing buzz around the 6'1”, 170-pound Jordan, and Utah back on the first of November.
He took an official visit to Utah on the 28th of October. According to Rivals' National Recruiting Director Adam Gorney, the visit went well:
"The four-star receiver from Chatsworth (Calif.) Sierra Canyon has been committed to USC since May 1. But after a recent visit to Utah, the Utes look like a very strong contender in his recruitment and one wonders if the Trojans’ struggles this season could be playing a factor here as well. I’ve been told it’s down to USC and Utah for Jordan but he’s also been seen wearing Arizona gloves at games this season".
Utah has a history of recruiting elite skill plays from the Southern California area. The most notable in recent history was cornerback Clark Phillips, who is now playing on Sundays for the Falcons. Utah has three other Southern California kids currently committed to their 2024 class in Junipero Serra (Gardena) wide receiver Zacharyus Williams, Mater Dei (Santa Ana) safety Jeilani Davis, and St. John Bosco (Bellflower) linebacker Ashtin Kekahuna-Lopes.
Lincoln Riley has never had an issue with finding talent for his wide receiver corps, so while Jordan is an elite prospect, Riley would likely be able to replace him with another receiver either in the transfer portal or with a late push directed towards another receiver in the 2024 cycle.
