USC Football: Trojan Recruit Selected To All-American Game

Another impressive accolade for the Trojan commit.
In this story:

Millikan (Long Beach CA) wide receiver Ryan Pellum received an Under Armour All-American Jersey at his high school's gymnasium this week, officially inviting him to the prestigious Under Armour All-American game held at the end of every football season. Only the best of the best get invited to play in the UA All-American game. Some recent participants in the game were USC wide receivers Zachariah Branch and Duce Robinson, along with quarterback Malachi Nelson. They too were very highly recruited from programs across the country. Pellum announced his commitment to USC in June, joining another Southern California wide receiver Xavier Jordan of Sierra Canyon High School who committed back in May.

According to The 562, Pellum is the first player from Millikan High School to receive this invitation.

So, what did Pellum do to deserve this recognition? He displayed a knack for big plays both in the deep and intermediate passing game that forced the hand of programs like Alabama, Georgia, and Michigan to extend offers. He's got great speed and is a very instinctual pass catcher with fantastic body control. He will be put through a rigorous test when he faces the cream of the crop at the all-star game this winter.

The 2024 Under Armour All-American game is played every year, in early January, in Orlando Florida. It features a week of practice for two star-studded teams, followed by a game that's usually live streamed on ESPNU or ESPN+. An official time and date has not yet been announced for the 2024 Under Armour All-American Game.
