USC Football: Trojans In Consideration Set for Elite 2025 Offensive Tackle Tavaris Dice

USC is the lone Pac-12 team to make the list.

Langston Hughes (Fairburn, GA) offensive tackle Tavaris Dice took to Twitter to announce the schools he will be focusing on during his recruitment process. Along with USC, Dice named LSU, Georgia, North Carolina State, Miami, Auburn, Florida, and Missouri to his top schools list. The 6-foot-6 junior just wrapped up a stellar season at Langston Hughes High School, and recently took a visit to Auburn.

On3's industry rankings, an algorithm that takes into account all four major recruiting networks (Rivals, 247 Sports, and ESPN) lists Dice as a four-star prospect, a top 300 recruit nationally, the 21st-ranked offensive tackle prospect, and the 32nd-best prospect in Georgia in the class of 2025.

USC currently has zero commitments in their 2025 class, but four in their 2026 class. On3 is predicting that Auburn is leading in the recruitment of Dice. Auburn offensive line coach Jake Thorton, who is wrapping up his first season as OL coach at AU is Dice's primary recruiter according to On3

In an interview with On3's Director of Recruiting Chad Simmons, Dice had this to say about his top schools list:

“I want to make sure I’ll be developed to play early and also, go to the league. I want to go somewhere where I feel like, ‘Okay, I can stay here for the next four years,’ and I feel like the coaches really like me and my family is comfortable with me staying down there for four years.”
