USC Football: Trojans Offer Elite 2026 Texas Cornerback Jermaine Bishop Jr.

Jermaine Bishop Jr. just wrapped up his sophomore season at Willis High School.

Willis (Willis, TX) 2026 cornerback Jermaine Bishop Jr. took to Twitter to announce his USC scholarship offer. Currently, Bishop Jr. measures up at 5-11 145 pounds according to his Twitter. He was just named the Texas District 13-6A Utility Player of the Year for his electric sophomore season. His sophomore season stats are extremely impressive. He not only had five interceptions (two returned for touchdowns), he also carried the ball 26 times for 384 rushing yards with 7 rushing touchdowns to go along with 80 receptions for 1414 receiving yards and 17 touchdown receptions.

Bishop plays for the same Willis High School football program as elite quarterback and Florida commit DJ Lagway. The two combined for five touchdowns in a game earlier this season, highlighting the potential of Bishop Jr as a receiver in addition to corner.

Bishop Jr. is being heavily recruited by bluechip programs across the country, fielding offers from schools like Oklahoma, Tennessee, Texas A&M, Michigan, Florida, and Baylor to name a few.

USC's 2026 recruiting class currently has 4 pledges, and is ranked first in the country according to 247Sports. There is a ton of time left between now and signing day for the 2026 class, but USC is quickly pulling away from the pack when it comes to underclassman recruiting.

Through our research, AllTrojans.com hasn't found any reporting indicative of which college Bishop Jr. is currently favoring. Given the immense potential of Bishop Jr., we'll be following the recruitment of Bishop Jr. closely.
