Today, Conroe (Conroe, TX) 2025 cornerback Dorian Brew announced he received an offer from USC. He sent the tweet this afternoon, one day after Georgia sent him an offer.

The 6-foot-2, 190-pound Brew is considered a four-star prospect by all four major recruiting network, including On3.

Just this week, Brew dropped his 'top-five' list, letting the recruiting world know of his intentions to narrow the focus of his recruitment down to Oregon, Texas, Penn State, Ohio State, and Michigan. In an interview with Letterman Row's Matt Parker, Brew highlighted where schools see him playing at the next level.

"I’m getting recruited as an athlete, but I feel like my potential is highest at DB," Brew said. "It’s not a lot of DBs my size, my speed, so I feel like I can make my money at DB.”

Given USC is entering the recruitment of Brew so late in the process, it shouldn't give Trojan fans much hope in terms of actually landing Brew. But given signing day for the class of 2025 is a long ways out, USC might simply be covering their bases to throw their name in the hat should his commitment to one of the aforementioned five programs fall through.

As it stands, USC lacks any commitments to their 2025 class. They've been busy in the transfer portal as of late, scoring a huge win in the commitment of former UNLV freshman standout quarterback Jayden Maiava. We will keep Trojan fans posted on any developments in Brew's recruitment as it relates to USC, with his verbal commitment quickly approaching.
