Stanford, Oregon and Oregon State all moved up in the rankings while Arizona State dropped six spots after splitting a two-game series against Cal State Fullerton and losing two out of three games against Oregon.

Three weeks ago, USC was ranked No. 21, but the Trojans went on to get swept by Oregon State and Washington and haven't been included in the three polls since.

USC STUMBLES AGAINST WASHINGTON

USC had opportunities to win all three games but a combination of poor relief pitching and the inability to get a timely hit came back to haunt the Trojans.

USC lost the first game of the series 14-12 in 10 innings, the second game 7-6 and the third game 4-1 to fall to 25-17-1 on the season.

The Trojans play Long Beach State at Angel Stadium and Cal State Fullerton on the road this week before opening a three-game home set against No. 17 Oregon.
