USC Men's Volleyball: 3 Trojans Nab Major Academic Honor
When it comes to recruitment across all of USC's athletic programs, it has become very clear that scouts are always looking for students that pride themselves not only by their talents in their own respective sports but also their commitment to excelling in the classroom as well. USC's graduation rate has been above 90 percent for some time now and seeing that they have built some of the athletic programs in the nation, they ensure that their superstars maintain these expectations as well.
This is no different for their men's volleyball team as three players in George Dyer, Nate Tennant and Christian Thomas were part of an exclusive list 81 other students named to the 2023 Spring Pac-12 Academic Honor Roll.
Dyer is studying business administration while Tennant and Thomas both focus on real estate development. We have seen so many Trojans alumni that have suited up for the men's volleyball team in the past and they have gone on top achieve even more special accomplishments in the sport and in their outside interests.
It's not always easy to commit yourself to hours of studying and preparation for rigorous college courses on top of all of the responsibilities that come with playing for a division 1 school but all of these young men are prime examples that it is possible.
We are still some time away from watching our men's team take the floor again but in the meantime, we are sure that they are staying busy with their day to day duties and hopefully looking at these recognized players as inspirations to continue chasing their dreams!
