USC Women's Basketball vs Baylor: How to Watch, Odds, Predictions, and More
USC women's basketball is taking on Baylor in the NCAA Sweet 16 on Saturday. The No. 1 Trojans are taking on No. 5 Baylor as they try to make the Elite Eight for the first time in thirty years.
The 28-5 Trojans are the favorites to get the win after what has been their best season in decades. During the regular season, USC piled up wins and ended the year with their highest AP Top 25 poll ranking in years. They then advanced through a tough Pac-12 to win the final Pac-12 championship title, and are now looking to take a shot at winning the national title.
So far in the March Madness Tournament, USC has earned comfortable wins over No. 16 Texas A&M-CC and No. 8 Kansas to make the Sweet Sixteen. Now, they'll face the highest seed of the tournament they've seen so far in Baylor.
How to watch:
USC-Baylor will begin Saturday at 2:30 p.m. PT. The game will be broadcast on ESPN, and will also be available to stream on Fubo, YouTube TV, or Sling TV.
Odds:
USC is favored (-3.5) over Baylor (+3.5). The over/under for this game is set at 134.5.
Predictions:
JuJu Watkins and McKenzie Forbes have been great all season, but they've been near unstoppable through the tournament so far. Both Watkins and Forbes have scored at least 20 points in both games so far. Watkins and Forbes each scored 23 against Texas A&M Corpus Christi while Rayah Marshall added a double-double. Against Kansas, Watkins put up a double-double with 28 points and 11 rebounds while Forbes added 20 points.
With Watkins, Forbes and Marshall playing at such a high level right now, it's hard to see Baylor pulling off the upset.
USC 80, Baylor 68
More:
One Baylor player who could be a major threat is Jada Walker. Walker is coming off one of her best games of the season after putting up 28 points against Virginia Tech. USC will have to guard her carefully if they want to avoid an upset loss.
