The Utes impressive stretch of performances came to a screeching halt in Corvallis as the 25th-ranked Oregon State Beavers crushed -6.5 point favorite Alissa Pili and Co. 91-66.

After going on a streak of four straight conference wins, two of them against top-6 teams in the nation, USC and UCLA, the Utah WBB team lost all momentum against a team that in comparison to past opponents, they should've handled with little trouble.

Alissa Pili finished the game as Utah's top scorer going 1/2 from the line and 13/28 from the field for 28 points in 30 minutes. Kennady McQueen led the team in rebounds grabbing 7 boards, 6 of them on the defensive half of the court. Meanwhile, Ines Vieira dished out 9 dimes leading the team in the assist category. Dasia Young and Matyson Wilke joined Pili as the only Utes who put up double-digit point totals in the loss.

For the Beavers, Raegan Beers went a perfect 8/8 from the field and 4/5 from the line making her the top scorer with 20 points. Timea Gardiner was Oregon State's rebound leader, grabbing 11 boards with 10 coming off the defensive glass. Donovyn Hunter led the Beavs in assists, dishing out 10 dimes in 30 minutes.

Despite winning the turnover battle and being slightly outrebounded, the Utah women shot a measly 39.7% from the field and 27.3% from beyond the arc and weren't able to stay anywhere near Oregon State who shot 69.4% from the field and 65% from beyond the arc.

With the loss, the Utes fall to 15-6 on the season and 5-4 in conference play while the Beavers move to 17-3 overall and 6-3 in the conference. Next up for the Utes is a trip to Seattle to face the Washington Huskies on February 2nd.
