Utah Forward Alissa Pili Emerges As NCAA Leader In Three-Point Percentage
The Utah Women's Basketball account posted some love for star forward Alissa Pili in a post via X.
That's right, Pili leads the entire NCAA in 3-point percentage, hitting at a 56.5% clip from beyond the arc. Converting at such an efficient rate as a forward is a luxury that any team would dream of being able to call their own and as a direct result of her sweet stroke from downtown, the team possesses a 10-2 record and the 12 overall ranking in NCAA women's basketball.
Pili accompanies her sky-high three-point percentage with a field goal percentage of 69.7% which ranks 5th in the NCAA while also averaging 23.8 points per game which ranks 4th in the NCAA.
Class Superlatives For Utah's 2024 Recruiting Class
The 6'2" senior out of Anchorage, Alaska has improved upon her numbers from last year in almost every facet of the game, and despite a rocky start to the season, the team, led by Pili, has found their groove and as a result are making a strong push to regain their rightful ranking as one of the premier programs in the women's game.
