Big 12 officially approves Utah's entry into the conference

Utah will join the other four corner schools and be a member of the Big 12
In this story:

On Friday night the chancellors and presidents of the Big 12 unanimously voted in support of Utah and Arizona joining the conference according to ESPN.

Along with fellow four corner schools and fellow former Pac-12 member Arizona, the three programs boost the league's membership to 16 teams beginning in 2024. The move to the Big 12 comes after there were actually beliefs and reports indicating earlier on Friday that the Pac-12 would be able to survive and keep the remaining nine schools.

Instead, Oregon and Washington announced that they would be leaving for the Big Ten and the Pac-12 found themselves as hopeless as they had been all year.

The move for Utah is an interesting one as they are arguably the premier football program in the Big 12, and they will also have their biggest rival in BYU as a conference opponent.
