Georgia Reportedly Made Push For Utah QB Commit Isaac Wilson

The Utah Utes were nearly at risk of losing the face of their 2024 recruiting class
In this story:

On Wednesday, the Utah Utes were able to keep everyone in their class and sign their 15-person class.

The headliner or star of the class, is without a doubt four-star quarterback Isaac Wilson. The younger brother of New York Jets quarterback, MaxPreps Player of the Year finalist, and state champion appears to have all of the intangibles of a star in the making and is someone that Utes fans have been excited about far before he even committed.

However, as we learned on Wednesday, the Utes had to fend off one of college football's top programs in the back-to-back Georgia Bulldogs who according to Rivals' Matt Patton, made a push to flip Wilson. Head coach Kyle Whittingham also touched on the late push without naming Georgia, when speaking to the media on Wednesday.

The news comes after Georgia ended up losing five-star quarterback Dylan Raiola who recently flipped to Nebraska. According to On3, Wilson didn't hold an offer from Georgia.

Surely a development like this will make Utes fans love Wilson even more.
