Kyle Whittingham Takes Bold Stance On Pac-12 Ahead Of Conference's Collapse
Utah head coach Kyle Whittingham has been around the block to say the least in terms of experience.
The Utes' fearless leader has been at the helm of the program since 2005, and has led many talented teams while also facing a ton of good ones as well. However, even with all of his experience with a handful of great teams making their way through the conference, Whittingham told Jim Rome that this is the best he's ever seen in the Pac-12.
Whittingham acknowledged the irony of the situation being that the Pac-12 is about to implode, with the conference on track to turn to a European-style format with the Mountain West that will include promotion and relegation.
The Utes are one of eight-ranked Pac-12 teams, which is something that only the SEC has ever done. There are Heisman candidates littered throughout the conference, and it's safe to say the conference will go out with a bang.
The No. 11 Utes will be hosting the No. 22 Bruins on Saturday, with fans hoping that quarterback Cam Rising will make his return.
