Pac-12 teams with the best odds to join Colorado in the Big 12

Utah is among the handful of teams viewed as possible Big 12 targets
In this story:

We are one day removed from Colorado, shocking the college football world and moving back to the Big 12.

The move comes just days after Pac-12 Commissioner George Kliavkoff expressed confidence that no one in the Pac-12 would leave the conference. It also comes about a week after Colorado asked for and wasn't given numbers for the conference's media rights deal.

With the Buffs off to the Big 12 there is a resounding belief around college football that they won't be the only Pac-12 team to make the jump, with SportsLine oddsmakers even releasing betting odds on who could be the next team. Of those teams, the Utes who were once a part of the coveted four corner schools, are included.

Let's take a look at who has the best odds to be the next Pac-12 team to make the jump to the Big 12.

Odds: +300

The Wildcats are viewed as the favorites to join the Pac-12 with Colorado, and are viewed as a perfect fit for the conference thanks to their strong basketball programs.

Odds: +400

Arizona State isn't viewed as highly as Arizona, but there could be a possibly that the Big 12 ends up taking them both if they decide to expand to over 14 teams.

Utah

Odds: +600

The Utes have the worst odds of the Pac-12 teams mentioned, but they do have better odds than programs such as UConn, San Diego State, Gonzaga, and Memphis.
