Utah fans had a glimpse into the future tonight as star QB commit Isaac Wilson balled out against Skyridge at Rice-Eccles Stadium.

Last year's 6A Championship game had a rematch yesterday between the Corner Canyon Chargers and the Skyridge Falcons. The Chargers, led by Isaac Wilson, who is set to be the future starting quarterback for the Utes, were looking to get their revenge on the Falcons who had an 11-3 record. The Chargers, with a record of 13-1, managed to get their revenge by crushing the Falcons 41-27.

Wilson rushed for 160 and 3 touchdowns on 20 attempts while also garnering 251 yards through the air for 2 touchdowns at a 15-23 clip. Chargers wide receiver Jerome Myles got the lion's share of targets and made the most of it going 121 yards on 5 receptions for 2 touchdowns.

Wilson, a class of 2024 QB who comes to the U next year will have to deal with the backlog at QB especially if Cam Rising returns while also having a four-star QB commit on his heels the following year.

But if he brings his electric feet and strong arm with him, he'll have a legitimate chance of competing with Brandon Rose and Wyatt Becker for the top spot going into 2025 and potentially 2024 if Rising doesn't return.
