Utah Lands Commitment From 2025 Four-Star QB Wyatt Becker
The Utah Utes got the recruiting party started early for the 2025 class, as they were able to land a commitment from 2025 four-star quarterback Wyatt Becker.
The Sierra Canyon (CA) product will now be the centerpiece of their 2025 class, as he marks the first commitment they've landed. He chose the Utes over programs such as Arizona, Oregon, Tennessee, Miami, and Georgia among others as he held 23 offers.
According to 247Sports, he ranks as the No. 320 player in the country, the No. 24 quarterback, and the No. 29 player in the state of California. The new Utah commit has had quite the year, leading Sierra Canyon to an 11-0 record and to the semifinals in CIF Southern Section Football Playoffs. Becker has completed 156-of-237 passes (65%) for 2,423 yards, 29 touchdowns to 7 interceptions, while also rushing for 218 yards and 4 touchdowns.
The Utes' quarterback room of the future continues to look promising after what has been a complicated year.
