After No. 14 Utah's 34-32 victory over No. 18 USC on Saturday, it wasn't all positive news.

While the Utes did get a stellar showing from Bryson Barnes who was able to lead the Utes down the field for a game-winning field goal, they also lost another three players due to injury for the rest of the season. The first two and the biggest names on the squad were of course quarterback Cam Rising and tight end Brant Kuithe, who were officially declared out for the year after the team had made it seem like they'd return sometime this season.

While those two being out is disappointing, it was the news that Utah lost yet another star in linebacker Lander Barton for the rest of the season. He appeared to go down in the fourth quarter, and ended up on the sidelines in a walking boot and on crutches.

The defense is now without Barton and pass rusher Logan Fano.

The Utes will have to turn to Stanford transfer Levani Damuni to fill in for Barton who had 46 total tackles, 4.5 sacks, two interceptions, and a forced fumble on the year.
