Utah OT Spencer Fano Named To 247Sports Freshman All-American Team

Utah's youngster at left tackle was among the best freshman in the country in 2024

It's not often that the big fellas up front get love, but Utah's left tackle Spencer Fano deserves every ounce of it.

In his first season in Salt Lake City, he allowed just two sacks on the season and started every game at left tackle. The freshman was among the players named to The 247Sports True Freshman All-American Team.

Fano will be a cornerstone for the Utah line for the next couple of years before he inevitably heads off to the NFL. Next season, he will be tasked with protecting Cam Rising's blindside, as the star quarterback announced his return for a seventh season.
