Utah Set To Host Washington State WR Transfer Josh Kelly For Visit

The Utah Utes are in need of reinforcements in the wide receiver room

Utah has lost some talent in the pass-catching department and is looking to bring in a handful of portal players to help fix their problems.

One of their main targets at receiver is Washington State transfer Josh Kelly, who has reportedly scheduled three visits already. He took his first visit to Notre Dame, and is slated to take two more according to On3. The report by Pete Nakos revealed that Kelly will be in Lubbock to see Texas Tech from December 11-13, and will head up to Salt Lake City the 13-15.

This past season, he and fellow transfer quarterback Cam Ward tore apart opposing defenses, as Kelly finished the year with 61 catches for 923 yards and eight touchdowns this season.

He is someone who would likely step in and be the first option for an offense that should be more high octane with seventh-year senior Cam Rising returning next year. The Utes having the last visit gives them a prime opportunity to make a lasting impression on Kelly, and will be the team freshest in his mind as he looks to make a decision.
