The Utah Utes pulled out an unlikely 20-13 road win over the Baylor Bears at McLane Stadium on Saturday despite the absence of quarterback Cam Rising.

Led by Utah running back Ja'Quinden Jackson, who was back in his home state of Texas, the Utes' rushing attack dominated. Jackson had 19 carries for 129 yards to lead the team, which finished with a total of 47 carries for 224 yards and two touchdowns.

But it was running back Jaylon Glover who got to be the hero - even if he wasn't trying to be.

Inside the red zone tied at 13-13 with 1:29 left after the Bears tossed a costly interception, the Utes seemed ready to drain out the clock and settle for a game-winning field goal.

Instead, the Baylor defense let Glover run through the initial push and seemed intent on letting him score in order to get the ball back. Glover made his way to the goal line, but instead of diving in, he ran horizontally on the one-yard line in order to drain more clock before being pushed into the end zone by a defenders to complete a wacky 11-yard scoring play.

Glover finished Saturday with seven carries for 40 yards and the score. He'll look to carry this momentum headed into next week's game against Weber State at home.
