Utah viewed as having major recruiting potential in the Big 12

Utah viewed as having the second most recruiting potential in the Big 12
In this story:

After the 2023 season which will feature Utah pursuing their third straight Pac-12 title, the Utes will be a part of the Big 12.

They will have a new conference to conquer, new opponents to play, and they will also have a chance to become one of the premier programs on the recruiting trail. Something that 247Sports' Robbie Weinstein dove into recently when he ranked the new look Big 12 by recruiting potential.

The Utes came in at No. 2 on the list, as while they may lose some access to places like California recruiting wise, they now have new connections in the state of Texas thanks to all of their Lone Star state opponents. The only program that ranked above them was TCU, who is currently the hottest program in the conference thanks to the fact they are the first program not named Oklahoma to make the playoff, and more importantly the first to win a game in the CFP.

Their recruiting class still has some moves to make as they rank No. 63 in the country, and if they are able to have another strong season they may continue to build their appeal. While they have been a constant competitive force they have just one top 25 recruiting class in the last decade.
