WATCH: Bryson Barnes torches Florida's defense on first pass of the season
The backup quarterback silenced the doubters on the first play
In this story:
After the defense shut down the Gators on their first drive of the game, the Utah Utes' offense led by former walk-on Bryson Barnes had a chance to take a lead.
Barnes is filling in for Cam Rising who is out with a knee injury, and to say Barnes entered the game with a bang would be an understatement. He unloaded an absolute bomb of a throw to Money Parks who took it 70-yards for a touchdown.
The big play gives the Utes a 7-0 lead, and Rice-Eccles Stadium and the city of Salt Lake City appears to be buzzing.
