Will Utah be upset by Florida for a second year in a row?
One analyst believes Florida will get the best of Utah in 2023
In this story:
There are two days between us and Utah's season and home opener against the Florida Gators.
The Gators led by Anthony Richardson got the best of Utah a year ago, and according to On3's JD PicKell the Gators will beat the Utes again. He cited the fact that Cam Rising's status being this unknown ahead of the game is concerning, questioning the fact that even if he does play will Rising still be the same player we know he can be.
He went on to predict that Florida would win by a score of 27-24, and also explained that it would be a signature win for Wisconsin transfer Graham Mertz.
Utah is currently favored by 6.5 points, and ESPN's FPI gives them a 73.3% chance at winning their season opener.
