Former Vanderbilt standout running back Khari Blasingame is returning to Nashville as a member of the Tennessee Titans per an announcement from the Titans on Wednesday.

Blasingame (6-0, 233) signed with the Vikings as an undrafted college free agent following this year’s NFL Draft and was added to their practice squad following training camp. In his college career at Vanderbilt, Blasingame played in 43 games and totaled 997 rushing yards (238 attempts) with 15 touchdowns on the ground, and recorded 35 receptions for 380 yards and two touchdown grabs.

By signing him off an opponents active roster, the Titans must immediately place him on their active roster.

While Blasingame joins their roster, there are no guarantees as to how long he will stay twith the team, one who has been actively shuffling the bottom of their roster of late, but for now Blasingame will return to Nashville.
