Gameday Open Thread Live: Vanderbilt vs Kentucky
The Kentucky Wildcats enter Vanderbilt Stadium this afternoon looking to add another win to their total as the look to become bowl eligible against a Vanderbilt Commodores team playing out the season as their bowl hope are now gone.
Both teams have dealt with quarterback issues this season.
For Vanderbilt, it has been a revolving door under center because of injuries to the top two players at that position. As for the Cats, it has been so bad that they are now using a receiver at quarterback and going with a trhow-back offense that resembles something from the 1960's.
The question today for the Commodores is will they play inspired football despite their bowl hopes ending last week, or will this be a flat performance in the face of a solid Kentucky defense, but limited offense.
In the midst of a disappointing season it is possible that the color of the stadium today will lean toward the Big Blue, as just over an hour before kickoff, the fans currently in the stadium on this picture perfect afternoon are decidedly blue.
