NCAA May Set a Guideline on How to Properly Handle COVID-19

Some NCAA schools are refusing to report coronavirus numbers while others are requiring athletes to sign waivers.

A recent U.S Senate committee hearing set to discuss student-athlete compensation quickly turned into a discussion on how college football will handle the coronavirus pandemic. The question being asked, will the NCAA requires athletic departments to disclose the number of positive virus cases among their athletes.

Each university is handling virus-related matters differently. Some schools are refusing to report numbers while others are requiring athletes to sign waivers.
