On Wednesday it was announced that the NCAA will furlough its 600 Indianapolis-based staff members. The memo announcing the furloughs was sent by NCAA Mark Emmert to the more than 1,200 member schools. Starting September 21st through the end of January 2021 staffers will need to take a 3-week furlough with some staffers needing to take as long as eight weeks.
