Iowa State Knocks off Oklahoma and Lands in the AP's Top 25 College Football Poll

For the first time since September 2016 the Oklahoma Sooners are out of the top 25 leaving room for No. 24 Iowa State to jump back in after the big win

Iowa is in and Oklahoma is out. The Associated Press College Football Poll was released on Sunday and for the first time since September 2016 the Oklahoma Sooners are out of the top 25 leaving room for No. 24 Iowa State to jump back in. This move happened after the Sooners lost to the Cyclones for the first time since 1960.

Saturday was a day of upsets as 5 teams fell out of the Top 25 after 8 ranked teams lost to 6 unranked opponents. Some schools however managed to hold on. After the Longhorns lost to TCU at home they dropped 13 spots but are still ranked at number 22.

Saturday also held some big wins for teams and emaining at the top of the list are Number 1 Clemson, No. 2 Alabama, No. 3 Georgia, No. 4 Florida with Number 5 Notre Dame holding idle.

The top 5 schools who received votes but are not currently ranked were Kansas State , USC, Mississippi State, UCF and TCU
