Yet due to the ongoing pandemic, the 2020 AAU circuit barely existed, and coaches haven’t been on the road to see recruits making Sheppard a word-of-mouth myth.
Only five schools have offered scholarships to date to Sheppard but it’s been said that he’s good enough for Kentucky, which means he’s good enough to play anywhere. The University of Kentucky has been the yellow brick road to the NBA and because of that a lot of fans have the one-and-done fatigue. Could Reed Sheppard force a change in Calipari's approach?
