University of Miami defensive end Gregory Rousseau and Virginia Tech cornerback Caleb Farley both decided to leave their college football teams to prepare for the NFL draft instead of playing under the threat of COVID-19. Their decision protected themselves and their families, but convincing the fans of their choices was a greater challenge.
