Kirk Herbstreit's Nebraska pick for the Big Ten Championship is a huge surprise

Kirk Herbstreit turned some heads with his Big Ten Championship prediction.

With the college football season nearly underway, ESPN's Kirk Herbstreit offered up some predictions. For the Big Ten Championship it was no surprise that he picked his alma mater Ohio State, who are the preseason favorites to win the title. However, It was his choice for their opponent that was the real surprise. 

“And then I think, look at this, I got Nebraska,” Herbstreit continued. “Remember they were 3–9 last year, all nine losses within one possession. They found ways to lose games. I think Scott Frost can have a great year with Casey Thompson at quarterback.”
