The 2023 ACC Swimming & Diving Championships will be held this week from Tuesday, February 14th through Saturday, February 18th at the Greensboro Aquatic Center in Greensboro, North Carolina.

The Virginia women's swimming & diving team will look to win its fourth-consecutive ACC Championship and 19th ACC title in program history. Last season, the Cavaliers completed the three-peat by winning 14 total event titles, including all five relays, and breaking three American records in the process. From that team, UVA returns all but one of the nine swimmers who won individual ACC titles in 2022, including Alex Walsh, who was named the ACC Women's Most Valuable Swimmer after winning three individual events and three relay titles. This season, Virginia's swimmers own the top times in 10 of the 13 events among swimmers in the ACC.

The Virginia men's swimming & diving team aims to win its 17th ACC Championship in program history, but first since 2013, when the Cavaliers won their sixth-consecutive ACC title. UVA's best finish since then was a second-place finish on the team leaderboards at the 2020 ACC Championships. Virginia finished fourth at the 2022 ACC Championships, with the highlight of the meet being a victory in the 200-yard freestyle relay, as the team of Matt Brownstead, Matt King, Connor Boyle, and August Lamb broke an American record.
