Virginia Women's and Men's Soccer Teams Announce 2023 Schedules

The schedules for the 2023 Virginia women's and men's soccer seasons were announced on Tuesday afternoon. Each team will host 11 games apiece at Klockner Stadium. See the full schedules for both the 2023 UVA women's and men's soccer seasons below along with some notes on each.

Virginia will open the season with seven non-conference matchups, six of which will take place at home. UVA will host Nevada, Radford, Michigan, West Virginia, VCU, and Iowa and will play at George Mason on August 27th in Fairfax. 

Virginia's ACC schedule includes home matches against North Carolina, Duke, Virginia Tech, Miami, and Boston College. UVA will play road matches at Louisville, Wake Forest, Clemson, NC State, and Syracuse in the regular season finale on October 26th. 

UVA's 2023 schedule includes eight matches against teams that made the NCAA Tournament in 2022: West Virginia, Radford, North Carolina, Duke, Wake Forest, NC State, Virginia Tech, and Clemson. 

In preseason exhibition play, Virginia will face Notre Dame in Maple City, Michigan on August 8th and UVA will play at Ohio State on August 13th in Columbus, Ohio.

Virginia's non-conference schedule features home games against Iona, Loyola Marymount, George Mason, Maryland, East Tennessee State, Hofstra, and High Point and UVA will also play at JMU on September 12th in Harrisonburg. Maryland's trip to Virginia on September 4th will mark the first time the Terrapins have played the Cavaliers at Klockner Stadium since 2013. 

In ACC play, Virginia will play road matches at Duke, Notre Dame, Boston College, and Virginia Tech. UVA will host NC State, Louisville, Pittsburgh, and North Carolina in the regular season finale on October 27th. 

UVA's 2023 schedule includes seven teams that qualified for the NCAA Tournament: Maryland, Duke, Louisville, Hofstra, Pittsburgh, High Point, and North Carolina. 

In preseason exhibition action, Virginia will host Patrick Henry CC (August 12), Villanova (August 15), and Duquesne (August 19) at Klockner Stadium.
