Wahoos Weekly: Previewing the Week Ahead in Virginia Athletics [4/25-4/30]

See the full schedule of Virginia Cavaliers sporting events for the week of April 25th-30th and a preview of the week ahead in UVA athletics. This week, seven Virginia sports teams will be in action for a total of 14 UVA sporting events. 

No. 13 Virginia baseball looks to right the ship this week with five games at Disharoon Park as part of an 11-game homestand. UVA will host Liberty at 6pm on Tuesday and Towson at 6pm on Wednesday before welcoming No. 20 Duke to Charlottesville for a three-game series this weekend. 

No. 3 Virginia men's lacrosse wraps up the regular season this week. The Cavaliers travel to Easton, Pennsylvania for a non-conference road matchup at Lafayette on Tuesday at 7:30pm. UVA will then return home to host No. 1 Notre Dame in the regular season finale on Sunday at 2pm at Klockner Stadium. 

UVA women's lacrosse has earned the No. 4 seed in the ACC Women's Championship and will face No. 5 seed Notre Dame in the quarterfinals on Wednesday at 1:30pm at American Legion Memorial Stadium in Charlotte. The winner will face Boston College/Louisville/Duke in the semifinals on Friday. 

Athletes from the Virginia track & field teams will participate in the Penn Relays from Thursday through Saturday at Franklin Field in Philadelphia. UVA will also host the Virginia High Performance meet on Sunday at Lannigan Field in Charlottesville. 

Virginia softball will play its final ACC series of the regular season this weekend on the road at Syracuse. 

Virginia rowing hosts the UVA Invite on Saturday and will face North Carolina, Tennessee, and Navy at the Rivanna Reservoir.
