Preseason rankings continue to roll out for the 2024 college baseball season and the Cavaliers keep finding themselves in the top 15

With opening day quickly approaching, more and more of college baseball's major publications are releasing their preseason polls for the 2024 season. D1Baseball.com released its 2024 Preseason Top 25 Rankings on Tuesday morning and Virginia came in at No. 14. 

UVA is one of six ACC teams included in the poll, with all six of those teams ranked in the top 15: No. 1 Wake Forest, No. 10 Clemson, No. 12 Duke, No. 13 NC State, No. 14 Virginia, No. 15 North Carolina. 

Of the two major college baseball publications who have released their preseason top 25 rankings for the 2024 season, Virginia is ranked in the top 15 in both. The Cavaliers came in at No. 10 in the Perfect Game Preseason Top 25 released on January 5th.

The 2024 Virginia baseball season opens on February 16th, as the Cavaliers host Hofstra for a three-game series at Disharoon Park.
