Virginia suffered back-to-back losses and an ACC series loss for the first time this season as Virginia Tech managed to take two out of three games against Cavaliers this weekend in Blacksburg. Naturally, that means UVA dropped a few spots across the various college baseball polls.

In the most recent D1Baseball poll, Virginia dropped two spots from No. 5 to No. 7. Collegiate Baseball Newspaper moved UVA down to No. 5 from No. 3. Virginia fell from No. 6 to No. 8 on Perfect Game and from No. 5 to No. 8 on Baseball America. The Cavaliers moved down two spots from No. 5 to No. 7 in the most recent USA TODAY Coaches Poll

All five of these polls still have Virginia in the top 10, with a high of No. 5 and a low of No. 8.

Virginia (24-4) plays at Liberty on Tuesday at 6pm in Lynchburg before returning home for a three-game series against Miami.
