WATCH: Brian O'Connor Previews the 2024 Virginia Baseball Season
With just a few weeks remaining until the opening of the 2024 Virginia baseball season, UVA head coach Brian O'Connor met with the media on Friday to discuss this year's team and preview the upcoming coming college baseball season.
O'Connor talked about the perspective and attitude this team has after making it to the College World Series last season, provided an evaluation of UVA's pitching staff with comments on transfers and what he sees as a pivotal class of rising sophomore pitchers, discussed Ethan Anderson's move to catcher to replace Kyle Teel and the importance of Griff O'Ferrall and Casey Saucke at the top of the batting order, and gave a few comments on Virginia's schedule this spring.

The 2024 Virginia baseball season will open on Friday, February 16th, when the Cavaliers host Hofstra for the first of a three-game series at Disharoon Park.
